For a great time on Broadway, you can’t beat the jazzy new musical hit After Midnight. Featuring the vocal stylings of Fantasia Barrino and Tony winner Adriane Lenox, hosted by Dule Hill and backed by the incredible Jazz at Lincoln Center All-Stars orchestra, this irresistible show brings the pizzazz of NYC’s Cotton Club to the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. Broadway.com resident artist Justin ‘Squigs’ Robertson took his seat and produced a portrait of Hill, Barrino and Lenox, along with the show’s incredible dancers (back, from left) Julius “iGlide” Chisolm, Virgil “Lil’ O” Gadson, Jared Grimes and Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards, and the singing trio of Rosena M. Hill Jackson, Bryonha Marie Parham and Carmen Ruby Floyd. Fabulous job, Squigs!
About the Artist: With a desire to celebrate the magic of live theater and those who create it, and with a deep reverence for such touchstones as the work of Al Hirschfeld and the wall at Sardi’s, Squigs is happy and grateful to be among those carrying on the traditions where theater and caricature meet. He was born and raised in Oregon, lived in Los Angeles for quite a long time and now calls New York City his home.
